A Handprint of Care : Guatavacla, Cuba
In 2023, with the collaboration of the humanitarian aid efforts “Not for Tourist” we raised funds for school and medical supplies to deliver a suitcase filled with essential medical supplies in rural areas of Guatavacla, Cuba. Through various fundraisers including our community skating event, we were able to support local healthcare facilities and daycares to provide for those in need. Sometimes small actions create a big impact.

A Handprint of Learning: Kalyampoodi, India
In March 2023, the Handprint Project traveled to India to volunteer at Child Haven International orphanage dedicated to providing safety, care, and education to women and children in need, particularly in rural regions of India and across Asia. Over the course of three weeks, we worked closely with the staff and children, assisting with daily chores and supporting the orphanage’s daily routines. We also donated recreational, artistic, and educational supplies—including sports equipment, art materials, and educational resources as well as a year’s worth of fresh fruit to support the children’s nutrition. Through shared experiences and meaningful connections, we built a strong bond with the children and staff. Their smiles reminded us that meaningful connections can shape one's perspective.

A Handprint of Joy: Cholet, France
December 2025, the Handprint Project traveled to France during the holiday season to support families and communities facing financial hardship. Recognizing that many families are unable to afford gifts for their children, the Handprint Project created and distributed pre-made holiday gift kits for children in need. These thoughtfully prepared packages were delivered directly to families as a way to help ease financial stress and spread warmth, joy, and hope during the holiday season. Through this initiative, we aimed to remind families that they are seen and supported especially at a time of year meant for togetherness and celebration.
